A new Guinness World Record will be attempted at the Motorhome & Caravan Show in October - the largest ever touring caravan made entirely of LEGO® bricks. More than 150,000 interlocking plastic bricks will be used to make the TAB-style caravan, which will feature working electric lights, simulated cooking facilities, bed and seating.
Sprite, Swift Group's top selling caravan range has been enhanced for 2016. With the launch of the new Sprite Freedom, the Sprite range now moves to mid-range level.
Bailey's fourth generation of Pegasus touring caravans arrives this autumn. Bailey says this moves 'caravan design in this market sector to the next level, both in terms of practicality and desirability'. All Bailey leisure vehicle models are built using the patented Alu-Tech construction technology.
The Caravan Club will be hosting the first ever nationwide Caravanner of the Year competition which will see the Club search caravan parks across the land to find the best of the best caravanners and motorhomers. It will be filmed for a special BBC2 programme due to be aired on BBC2 next year.

CRiS and caravan security with VIN Chip: The NCC has introduced a new
and improved theft deterrent for new touring caravans.
The theft deterrent and identification system, known
will also aid the recovery of stolen touring
caravans. It will be introduced in September
across all new NCC member manufacturers' caravan
ranges in the 2016 model year.
VIN Chip is unique and features a specific 17 digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which will be carried on windows and gas lockers, using tamper evident display stickers. The VIN Chip system, which uses both visible and invisible markings, will also contain hidden electronic RFID (radio frequency identification) chips and embedded Quick Response (QR) codes that are traceable by the police.
Important advice on towing: make sure your caravan is correctly loaded and not overweight, check all tyres and check that you have the right mirrors. largest start-of-the-season holiday showcase, The
Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, kicked the year
off in style with nearly 87,000 people visiting
Birmingham's NEC across the six day event in February.
This was a record for this show since NCC Events ran
its first spring show at the NEC in 2012. TV's Ben
Fogle and Matt Baker opened the show, which had more
